HOW TO MAKE SHARWAMA

Sharwama can be made at home with the right proportion and recipe.

FIRSTLY, Chop the cabbages into small pieces, Grate the carrots, Mince the green pepper, and cut the cucumber.

THEN, Dice the meat of your choice and set it aside. Blend the onion, garlic, ginger, and scotch bonnets, add them to the diced meat and place them in a pot. Season with salt, curry, thyme, and season cubes. Add some water and cook for about 15 minutes until it’s soft. Then stir fry in vegetable oil for about 3-5 minutes.

Grinding your meat is also preferable if you have a mincer, grinder, or food processor. If you are using a grinder, rinse your meat thoroughly, cut off the elastic part of the meat and dice the meat into very small chunks and go ahead and grind. To avoid this whole stress, getting minced meat will be preferable.

Also, get one pita bread and open it, which divides into two. Place one on top of the other. Spread mayonnaise over the bread on top. Add the cabbage, carrot, green pepper, cucumber, and beef. Drizzle with powdered chili and spread with ketchup or mayonnaise.

LASTLY, Fold to keep the contents from spilling out and place on a pan greased with a small amount of vegetable oil. Reduce the burner to the barest minimum and let the sharwama heat up on the side with the open flap, flip and do the same for the other side.
